 HEAT EXPANDABLE POLYMERIC MICROSPHERE


PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
CLOCELL® 10007 is a heat expandable polymeric microsphere. The microsphere consists of an acrylonitrile shell which encapsulates a high boiling point liquid. Upon application of heat, CLOCELL® 10007 will expand to form a low density, foamed layer in systems that incorporate these microspheres.

CLOCELL® 10007 is a dry powder with less than 3% moisture and is indicated for
non-porous applications.

PRODUCT FEATURES:
• Expansion at high temperatures (>160° C)
• Excellent heat and solvent resistance
• Excellent resistance to yellowing upon exposure to heat, ultraviolet radiation, or high pH.

CLOCELL® 10007 SOLVENT RESISTANCE
Microsphere expandability was checked after the exposure of unexpanded particles in each solvent for 10 days at 40 degrees centigrade.
