Application: Substituted alkyl phosphate FR compound
for non-woven and woven PP fiber.
Active Ingredients: Proprietary multicomponent system.
Carrier: Polypropylene
Active Content: 30 wt. %
Physiology: The raw materials used comply with NFPA
701 fire and smoke regulations.
Physical Form: White pellets.
Technical Data:
Decomposition Initial: Approximately 300 ° C.
Processing: Below 250° to achieve optimum flame retardant performance
Flexural Modulus, Mpa (PSI) 10 (1450)
Elongation, % 120 ± 10
Specific Gravity 1.1 to 1.3
Shore-D Hardness 40 ± 2
Recommended Processing Condition:
Fiber Extrusion Avoid processing beyond 250°
C melt temperature. PolyGard 3005R can be blended into other PP resins
in the ratio of 1:9 (i.e. 1 parts 3006R and 9 parts PP). This ratio
will impart flame retardancy, increased impact and improved elongation.
