Purging Compounds

PolyPurg compounds are designed for cleaning extruders and continuous mixers where rigorous cleaning is required. PolyPurg will remove organic and inorganic pigments, including carbon black and phthalo colors. All raw materials comply with US FDA regulations. PolyPurg purging compounds are available for polyolefin resin systems, as well as engineered thermoplastics. A properly cleaned extruded prior to shut-down and restart will dramatically reduce scrap and waste from cross-contamination, and will protect the barrel and shaft from corrosion and machine wear. PolyPurg is available in a uniform pellet shape.
